About Me

Hi there, thank you for stopping by. My name is Rebecca Hsu, and I’m a recent graduate of the University of North Texas, where I earned a Master of Journalism degree along with a certificate in narrative writing.

During my time there, I worked for the campus newspaper, the North Texas Daily, where I covered a wide range of local stories, from policy changes, elections, and protests to arts and culture features.

Beyond student media, I interned as a food reporter at the Dallas Observer, covering food, drink, and restaurant trends. I also interned at TVBS News, Taiwan’s first 24-hour national news channel, where I compiled international stories for a local audience.

Originally from New Taipei City, Taiwan, I am now based in Dallas, Texas. I’m fluent in English and Mandarin. Outside of journalism, I enjoy trying new recipes and exploring parks and nature.
